In the Junior School, we work with our parents to give every child the care and attention they need for friendships to flourish and for personalities to develop.
Getting children off to a great start in the first year of school life is so important, so we have a comprehensive orientation program to make sure that before our Preps even start the school year they have played in the playground, seen their classroom and had morning tea with their teacher and classmates.
Meanwhile, starting Senior School is a time of transition, when young people are really beginning to express their individuality and autonomy. It is the perfect time to be immersed in our world class approach to teaching emotional intelligence, which helps young people to manage, adapt and excel in a range of changing conditions.
With our Year 12 students achieving the best VCE results in the region year in, year out, starting in Year 7 at Girton Grammar is starting on the road to success.
Enrolment opportunities exist in most year levels this year owing to extra classes being added in the past. Please contact the Registrar if you are interested in enrolling your child this year.
Families of students enrolled to commence at the school will be contacted to arrange an enrolment interview. The enrolment interview is a wonderful opportunity us to get to know the students and for students and parents to ask any questions about Girton Grammar.
To discuss how your child can join our Junior School or our Senior School community, please contact the Registrar or Assistant Registrar on (03) 5441 3114 during office hours 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday or by emailing registrar@girton.vic.edu.au.
